Our company consists of several people, each specializing in his or her area of expertise.
Export to London
When it comes to expanding and consolidating the foreign market, for example, we use the very valuable support of the our expert contributor Riccardo Rabuffi. Exporting our wine to London. passes through his hands.
The wine market in London
🇬🇧 Bucking the London market is by no means easy. The wine market there is very sophisticated.
Although Italian and French wines are greatly appreciated, when it comes to Italian wines, traditionally the choice has often been those from the historically better-known regions, such as Tuscany and Piedmont.
The pride of seeing our Oltrepò Pavese wine appreciated in London – one of the world’s most competitive, cosmopolitan, refined and demanding cities – is great.
To have been able to introduce our production line with Riccardo’s valuable collaboration – well-established by now – for us is an important feedback on the quality of our wines.
Conquering London Town 💂
What we have found over the years is that people really like the product. In particular they meet the taste of Londoners and visiting tourists:
🍷our workhorse-that is, the Vigna Costera Historical Buttafuoco,
🍷 the Buttafuoco Abundance,
🍷 our Pinot Noir vinified in red,
💛💛💛our two still Rieslings.
Two still rieslings! Yes, the new riesling has just been born and has already made a cultural journey!
He crossed the English Channel and conquered London Town. ✈️
But we will talk about him in detail soon, stay tuned! 😉
In London recently, in June, we organized a tasting-or to put it in the local language, a wine tasting-with our bottles (they were full, but only just😉).
Where? At KöD London City, which has two venues in London in two lively neighborhoods: Soho and Devonshire Square.
We also led tastings at other venues in the capital.

What do we take home (apart from souvenirs😄)?
Satisfaction, because a presence in the United Kingdom for our winery is always an exciting adventure and something to be proud of, and moreover, it is a great sign for the future of the company.
Team matters!
