Francesco Maggi Winery at Autunno Pavese 2025

Just a week ago, we started the four-day food and wine event we have been participating in for many years: thePavia Fall, edition 2025.

Those who live in Pavia and Oltrepò Pavese know that every year in October, Pavia’s Exhibition Palace hosts stands of wines🥂, funghi🍄‍🟫, honey 🍯, rice 🌾, salami and more. Master classes and dinners are also organized in special rooms. In other words, the excellences of the territory are staged.

Ours was a double booth at the beginning of the large hall and equipped with two counters on which to fill the glasses of the many wine lovers who came by. We also set up a space with tables to accommodate those who cared to have a more in-depth chat about the wines with us on staff.

What do we take home from experiences like this?
The joyful moments, those of sharing with wine lovers and their feedback, which help us understand the tastes of those who love and drink wine.

🍷Of the red wines, our Buttafuoco Abundance, a jovial buttafuoco, and the other two “busier” Historic Buttafuoco from our winery: the Vigna Rogolino preview (we will be making the official launch soon!) and he, the Vigna Costera, our repeatedly awarded flagship. 🏆

🍾 We also popped many sparkling wine corks-theeclectic classic method sparkling wine Armonia from pinot noir grapes, the delicate classic method blanc de blancs Enigma, the drinkable charmat method 2278, and theintriguing rosé Atacama.

Among the white wines, highly appreciated are the two rieslings, Essence, one of our mainstays for years, and the brand new Rhine riesling, Folly, christened just this 2025!
